About Me.

Dr. Quinita Ogletree attended Virginia Union University, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and completed a Master's Degree in Divinity from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology. Dr. Ogletree continued her education at the University of Houston and was awarded a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. In 2012, she completed her doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Urban Education at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Ogletree has taught at Texas A&M University and Sam Houston State University. She has published several articles and book chapters. She has presented at several conferences including the American Educational Research Association, National Association for the Education of Young Children, and National Conference on Family Literacy.

 

Her research areas include multicultural literacy, urban education, gifted and talented, and early childhood education.
